Instructional Levels Of Cheer
The 6U level is the start of the future for Spirit. During this level the girls will learn the basic principles of cheer and teamwork. The 6U level is not a competitive competition team. In addition to sideline cheer at football games, there may be other events or competitions that this level of cheer may participate in.
WHO ARE THE 6U Cheer COACHES?
The Bolingbrook Buccaneers 6U Cheer Team currently has an opening for a volunteer head coaches and assistants.
If you have an interest in coaching this level, please submit a volunteer application as well as complete a coaches contract and someone will reach out to you.
AGE REQUIREMENTS?
To play on our 6U Team a player needs to be 6 years of age as of July 31, 2024.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PLAY ON THE 6U TEAM?
The fees for the BBFC is based on several factors including, but not limited to, the number of games we play, the uniforms we provide our players, the facilities we utilize and the experience we provide our teams. We do require our players to participate in Team Fundraisers as well to offset tournaments and team costs.
- Early bird Registration Fee:$275.00 (prior to 4/30/24)
- Post Early bird Registration Fee: $300.00 (after 4/30/24)
You can now register with only a $60 down. After registering with your down payment, you can now select up to 3 payment plan options that work for you.

HOW MANY GAMES WILL THE 6U CHEER FOR?
The 6U Team will cheer at home and away games (8-9 games).
PRACTICE SCHEDULE?
Our first official practice is Monday July 29, 2024. We practice 5 nights a week Mon - Friday through Mid-August.
During September, October, and November practices are 3 nights a week. Practices are at Bull Dog Park in Bolingbrook.
For this level of cheer the head coach will adjust practices and times as needed.
